The owner of every dog shall, annually on or before the 1st day of January in each year or as soon thereafter as such dog shall attain the age of 7 months, cause the same to be registered, described and licensed by the Municipality and shall at all times thereafter cause the dog to wear around its neck a collar, to which shall be attached the licence tag.  Also please refer to this bylaw for the cost of licencing and for information on lost or damaged tags or if you are a newcomer to Mission currently in possession of a tag through another municipality.

A licence may be purchased at the Municipal Hall at 8645 Stave Lake Street, Box 20, Mission, BC V2V 4L9 or at Mission Animal Control Services at 9541 Woodward Street, Mission, BC V4S 1H9. If you have questions please contact the District Of Mission, Inspection Services Department at 604-820-3727
